The applications of patinas with base of silver salts bring to surprising results when you watch movies on web or pieces made from real. You will not, however, almost never get these results during a demonstration even on the supports ad-hoc prepared by the producer. In fact, the method is not repeatable, you often get pieces yellow or brown, almost impossible to create large surfaces without stains, let alone the contact of the laminas to the surface: it is recommended never try to make the contact.

If you add a decisively expensive starting instrumentation, 6-8 steps required between the primer, washing with distilled water, salt solution, other washes, transparent, etc... you understand how this method exists only in theory. There is also a fourth industrial method to realize surfaces with chrome effect, the vacuum metallization.
